A cheeseburger is a hamburger topped with cheese. Traditionally, the slice of cheese is placed on top of the meat patty, but the burger can include variations in structure, ingredients and composition. The cheese is typically added to the cooking hamburger patty shortly before serving, which allows the cheese to melt. As with other hamburgers, a cheeseburger may include toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, bacon, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard or other toppings.
The cheeseburger I ate today was from Shake Shack. Shake Shack is known for the quality and taste of their burgers. This burger was different from the one’s I am used to because of the soft patty used. The sauce used in their cheeseburger also elevated it to another level. Putting a twist on an everyday item can do wonders and will make it stand out.
